Will complex formatting be preserved exactly?
Standard text, headings, tables and images convert well. Very complex layouts (nested tables, advanced fields) may render slightly differently than in Word.
Is this the same as Word's own 'Save as PDF'?
It uses a different, browser-based rendering engine, so for pixel-perfect fidelity on complex files, Word's built-in export can still be preferable.
