Your files

PDFDroid's tools run entirely client-side, in your browser. The PDFs, images and other documents you process are read, transformed and downloaded locally on your device. They are not uploaded, transmitted to, or stored on PDFDroid's servers at any point.

Information we do collect

Like most websites, we use standard analytics to understand aggregate traffic (e.g. which pages are visited, approximate location by country, device type). We also serve advertising through Google AdSense, which may use cookies to show relevant ads. This data is not linked to the content of any file you process on the site.

Third-party libraries

PDFDroid loads open-source JavaScript libraries (such as pdf-lib, pdf.js and Tesseract.js) from a public content delivery network to power its tools. These libraries run locally in your browser alongside PDFDroid's own code.
