About PDF to Word
PDFDroid defaults to Visual copy: every original PDF page is rendered as a high-quality image and placed on its own Word page, preserving scans, graphics, columns and positioning. Optional Editable text mode extracts selectable text, but complex layouts can shift.

Frequently asked questions
Can PDFDroid preserve the original PDF layout in Word?
Yes. Visual copy mode renders every original PDF page as a high-quality image and places it on its own Word page, preserving scans, graphics, columns and positioning. The image itself is not editable.
Can scanned PDFs be converted?
Yes. Visual copy mode supports scanned and image-only PDFs because each page is rendered as an image. Choose editable text mode only when you need selectable text.
Is my PDF uploaded anywhere?
No. The PDF is read and rendered entirely in your browser; the conversion does not upload the document to PDFDroid servers.
